What's new in Colour...

Using lighter colours can often create a classic look that won’t go out of fashion. Gentle tints can also create a sense of tranquillity, so we suggest using them in rooms you want to relax in such as your living room or bedroom.

Keep it simple and avoid using too many colours which can make it seem overly busy. If you are painting over a dark colour make sure to use an undercoat for the best cover age possible. Ask in your local Colortrend store or stockist what the best undercoat shade to use for your chosen colour.

In this photograph we have used Parsons Stone from our Historic Collection in Luxury Matt on the bottom of the wall, Icehouse from the same Collection on the top of the wall and Antique Eggshell in Parsons Stone also for the Architrave and skirting board. The door is painted in Milk Teeth from the Historic Collection in antique eggshell for a beautiful low sheen finish that creates the perfect subtle classical look.
